The Symetis ACURATE TA™ system has a unique and intelligent design featuring a two-step deployment technique. The ACURATE TA transapical aortic bioprosthesis is composed of three elements: a valve made of three non-coronary native porcine leaflets attached to a self-expanding nitinol stent and a PET skirt that is sutured onto the inner and the outer surface of the nitinol stent. The most distinctive aspects of the bioprosthesis design are the self-seating and self-sealing features that allow for optimal positioning of the valve, promote sealing, and reduce paravalvular leak. Combined with the two-step deployment technique of the delivery system, these properties provide outstanding ease-of-use throughout the procedure. The ACURATE TA bioprosthesis is available in three sizes (S, M, L) to treat patients with aortic annulus diameters from 21mm to 27mm.
ACURATE neo / TF
The Symetis transfemoral TAVI system is based on the same self-seating, self-sealing design and stepped deployment concept as the ACURATE TA™ system. The bioprosthesis ACURATE neo™ is composed of a porcine pericardial tissue valve sutured within a self-expanding nitinol stent covered by a pericardial skirt on the outer and inner surface of the stent body. ACURATE neo is available in three sizes (S, M, L) and its delivery system boasts an 18F outer diameter.
