Sternal Closing Wire

A complete line of monofilament, 316L stainless steel sutures perfectly suited for sternotomy closure. An especially flexible and pliable suture wire which offers the advantages of a wire that is more resistant to breakage during tightening and twisting. They conform more closely to the contours of the sternum than other less flexible wires.

Five wire sizes available in USP suture sizes 1, 2, 5, 6, and 7. All wires are 18” long (46cm). USP suture size 5 wires are available in 30” long (76cm).

MYO/WIRE™II sutures are available with either the Standard Cutting Taper point needle or one of eight needle options ranging from Taper Cutting, Conventional Cutting, Diamond Point, Reverse Cutting to Ball End.
